Around me

For my portrait photography project, I decided to take a picture of my classmates. The project emphasized community, and, after all, these classmates have been beside me for the past 4 years, so we are deeply rooted in community at this school. I took pictures of them in various poses, and chose the ones that felt especially meaningful to me. In addition, I also made them state their favorite quote, which puts more of a personal connection when someone is looking at their photo. Overall, I enjoyed taking photos for this project because I got to connect with my friends and classmates, and tell a story through their photograph.
